Interview with Bloody Invasion

Hello! Tell me about your band and what is your experience as a musician?
We are 5 friends who make music together for fun and now also successful. We do everything that has to do with the band Semi-professional it’s not always easy and costs time and money but it’s a lot of fun and we have a good time together. That’s the main thing.

Why did you choose your band name? How did you educate yourself? Why did you decide to play the genre or genres you are doing?
We wanted a name that fits in with our concept and that quickly gets stuck in our heads and we did that, I think … “Bloody Invasion”
We even listen to Metal and that’s why we play Death Metal !!

What can you tell us about your latest record?
It’s our debut album after we released our first EP in 2014. And on “Zombie Society” we processed everything we wanted. But listen in …
What kind of album feedback are you waiting for?
Of course, only positive feedback but also constructive criticism is okay, you want to continue to develop.
Will you go on a world tour in the future? Do you think that there is the opportunity for everyone to tour around the globe? What do you think the band has to do to get such an opportunity?
I think that unfortunately we will not do a world tour because we do not currently have a record company supporting us (we are looking) We do everything from songwriting, gigs organizing, merchandise printing to sales. I think that there is a possibility, we keep working on it and if the opportunity arises, we will take it.
Do you believe in a heavy music scene without money?
I think the metal scene will always exist and reinvent if necessary. There will always be people who want to make money, you just have to stay loyal and go your own way and not sell yourself then the fans will appreciate it.
What do you think about online music exchange? Do you ever give your music for free? Why?
I think for bands on our scale is the okay and yes we also give out music to increase our name recognition. But privately I only buy CDs and vinyl.
Who are your musical influences? Did you ever think your band could be as famous as your favorites?
The list is long;) … Edge Of Sanity, Asphyx, At The Gates, Dismeber, Gorefest, Eternal Dirge, Gates Of Ishtar, Hypocrisy, Necophobic, etc. And yes the dream to grow so big is the power that drives us ….

Do you have a formal music education? Do you think that it is an important thing?
I have no training, I have the guitar and drums to bring myself and make a lot out of the belly. But I think a good education in an instrument is not wrong and makes a lot easier.
How do you balance your music with other commitments – partners, children, career?
Very good question, but I am fortunate to have a family that supports me a lot in what I am doing and makes it so easy to get everything under one roof.
How do you handle errors during a performance? Or can you be sure that no errors will occur during your performances? Are you getting nervous before a performance or a competition?
There are always small mistakes during a gig, it always depends on how you deal with it and that’s what makes a band. We always analyze our concerts to avoid making the same mistake again next time. And yes, a little tingling in the stomach must be before the performance. 
What’s next? Many Thanks!
We start in January with two gigs and our Record Release Party and we support “Sodom” on 25.01.2019 in the Mau Club that will be great. And we look forward to it being released on Digi Pack CD and on vinyl in red vinyl, plus a video coming up in the next few weeks, so it’s going great. We have to thank.
